Community Writing Initiative Workshop on “Teaching Ta-Nehisi Coates’ ‘My President Was Black'”

At 2:30 on Wed. Feb. 8, 2017, as part of the Composition Program’s participation in the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) African American Read-In, Karen Springsteen will facilitate a workshop on teaching Ta-Nehisi Coates’ recent *Atlantic* essay, “My President Was Black.” This workshop is sponsored by the Composition Program’s Community Writing Initiative and instructors across the English Department are invited to attend.
